On friday my company have a gift exchange... I got a photo album... then @ night Mr Chieng & of cos all my best buddy cum colleagues came to my house for gathering plus gift exchange... The 1st prize goes to Mr Alson Teo... Haha all of us wanted that the most cos it a pendant plus a necklace from Citigem... Wow... Good Prize... I got a Beckham T-Shirt from Mr Alson... But of cos i can't wear that la cos i big size ma... Then the T-shirt is small size leh... After that we went to JCC for KTV session... We really enjoy ourselves that night...
Yesterday i went for breakfast with my pa & ma then after that drove pa to office then ma to work cos i need to use the car in the afternoon... I went Tampines to attend Jimmy's Son First Month Party... When i saw his son my first reaction was wow one year ago my Jervois also this size... Hehe... Time really flies... Then today i have another First Month Party again... It's @ Sembawang... It's Joe's son party today... It's a good sight that so many new members are joining us now... So for those that are still trying hopefully the 'Zu Sheng Niang Niang' can see u & let yr wishes come true soon... Best Wishes...
This year christmas eve we are having steamboat bbq @ my house... My parent & all my siblings are cuming... So last night i went to giant to buy all the stuff that we are going to have today... Hehe guess how much i spent? It's abt $125.... But i feel that it's worth it loh cos we can have a family gathering ma...

Today was awake @6.30am... Then couldn't get to sleep so i play online game loh... Then @ abt 7am Jervois wake up also... Dun noe why leh??? Nowadays he seems to dislike the maid so much... But i'm sure she didn't torture him la cos everyday pipi & Brenda were @ home too ma... So she where got chance... Hehe... So i have to stop playing & take care of him myself loh...
Then @ abt 9.30am pa came to fetch Brenda, Jervois & mi for breakfast... We had Dim Sum @ Hong Xing Jiu Jia situated @ Outram... The food was quite nice... As for the bill i'm not so sure cos my pa pay for the bill... After that while we were on our way out from the multi storey car-park we saw something interesting... A guy driving Nissan & Hyundai Getz get into a situation where by a person must reverse in order for the other party to get pass... Cos both was driving in the opposite direction... As for who is the one that's wrong of cos it's the Nissan man... Cos he turn into ppl lane ma... Guess wat??? He actually get down his car & scold the hyundai man... Hiyo the Nissan man is terrible he actually drive his car to bump the hyundai... After abt 5 mins someone came & ask the Nissan man to shift his car & says that he is the one who is wrong & will be the witness for the Hyundai... That's when Nissan finally shift but before he leave he scold the hyundai man again...Haizzz... Silly Man...
After that we went back to mummy's place to rest... Then this is where i got the funny dream... I actually dream that i was on a car driven by a dentist then while talking to her one of my tooth drop out then i used my finger to touch all my teeth where 1 by 1 actually came off... So scary loh...then suddenly i hear my mobile ring... Hehe it's Stanley loh... He called mi to ask whether i wanna meet him or not... So i say ok...
Then along with Brenda i went down to meet him... While reaching there's alot of car so i noe sure no parking lot one then i faster make a decision of going to the multi storey car park near by... Hehe of cos i got a parking lot la... Then after meeting Stan i went to buy the presents for my gift exchange this Thursday & Friday... After not long we went to buy 4D for pa and make our way home for dinner...
We have our Tang Yuan today as mummy is going to work for 10 long days starting from this wednesday... So she can't cook for us on the 22nd... Then we even plan wat to do on the 24th liao... Hehe... Last year i have mine @ home as Jervois is still very small but this year i'm going to enjoy myself... But dun noe can or not la cos my face ma... Haizzz..... Not a smooth year thought... Hopefully Next Year Will Be Better...
I actually work for the whole week... Haha... Have been on Medical Leave for the past few weeks... My face is still in a terrible condition... But i noe that i can recover if i do facial exercise more often...
Noe wat i have 3 wedding dinners to attend... It's on the 29th Dec, 1St Jan & 27 Jan... Hopefully i can recover by then if not u guys think i will attend... Hehe of cos i can't la... Look so ugly... If it's only to work & back home it's still fine for mi cos everyone already noe wat happen to mi... But if i were to walk on the street u noe la ppl tends to look... Cos i look weird loh...
My darling boy is down with fever,flu & cough ... He has fever since monday & only recover only on friday... But his cough is getting worse... Poor thing loh whenever he cough he will cry.. I noe he feel terrible but i can't do anything but jus to feed him his medicine... Hopefully he can recover fast...
Oh yah today Brenda & i went to visit des... It's the same old thing loh... When i reach there sunny... Then when i got up the cab it's start to rain... I noe that he is somewhere out there watching over us ...So for those that miss him... He still lives in our heart ok... Anyway i went to say Happy Birthday in advance ma cos i will be working on his actual day...
After that Brenda & I went to a tatoo shop to add on a new tatoo... Hehe... This time round it's something quite big... Still remember when des was around he ask mi to go add this item on as a tatoo he says it's nice so today i went straight after visiting him... I nearly gave up loh cos the pain is so buay tahan... But i still let him finish la... Haha... He told mi to go back for shading after a week... Wau hopefully the shading will not take very long...
Then after that both of us went to take our lunch @ a coffeeshop near the tatoo shop... After having our lunch we thought of taking a cab home... So guess wat??? A cab stop right in front of us then a lady & a guy alight... So i told my sis hiya they going in to this hotel one la... So the lady was shy she gei siao walk past the hotel entrance then the guy ask her to come back... Noe wat the lady is a maid the guy is a indian... Hiya y r they doing this? The maid is terrible loh... Her employer trust her by letting her go for off day then this is wat she does... If my maid get caught by mi i think that's the end of her... Haha

Ans : Bells palsy is a condition that causes the facial muscles to weaken or become paralyzed. It's caused by trauma to the 7th cranial nerve, and is not permanent.

Q3 : HOW COMMON IS BELL'S PALSY?
Ans : Bells palsy is not as uncommon as is generally believed. Worldwide statistics set the frequency at approximately .02% of the population (with geographical variations). In human terms this is 1 of every 5000 people, and 40,000 Americans every year.
Q4 : IS BELL'S PALSY ALWAYS ON THE SAME SIDE?
Ans : The percentage of left or right side cases is approximately equal, and remains equal for recurrences.
Q5 : IS THERE ANY DIFFERENCE BECAUSE OF GENDER OR RACE?
Ans : The incidence of Bells palsy in males and females, as well as in the various races is also approximately equal. The chances of the condition being mild or severe, and the rate of recovery is also equal.
Q6 : WHAT CONDITIONS CAN INCREASE THE CHANCE OF HAVING BELL'S PALSY?
Ans : Older people are more likely to be afflicted, but children are not immune to it. Children tend to recover well. Diabetics are more than 4 times more likely to develop Bells palsy than the general population. The last trimester of pregnancy is considered to be a time of increased risk for Bell's palsy. Conditions that compromise the immune system such as HIV or sarcoidosis increase the odds of facial paralysis occurring and recurring.
Q7 : CAN BELL'S PALSY AFFECT BOTH SIDES OF THE FACE?
Ans : It is possible to have bilateral Bells palsy, but it's rare, accounting for less than 1% of cases. With bilateral facial palsy, it's important to rule out all other possible diagnoses with thorough diagnostic tests.
Q8 : CAN BELL'S PALSY AFFECT OTHER PARTS OF THE BODY?
Ans : Bells palsy should not cause any other part of the body to become paralyzed, weak or numb. If any other areas are affected Bell's palsy is not the cause of the symptoms, and further testing must be done.
Q9 : HOW DO THE SYMPTOMS OF BELL'S PALSY PROGRESS?
Ans : Very quickly. Most people either wake up to find they have Bells palsy, or have symptoms such as a dry eye or tingling around their lips that progress to classic Bell's palsy during that same day. Occasionally symptoms may take a few days to be recognizable as Bells palsy. The degree of paralysis should peak within several days of onset - never in longer than 2 weeks (3 weeks maximum for Ramsey Hunt syndrome). A warning sign may be neck pain, or pain in or behind the ear prior to palsy, but it is not usually recognized in first-time cases.
Q10 : IS BELL'S PALSY CONTAGIOUS?
Ans : No, it is not contagious. People with Bells palsy can return to work and resume normal activity as soon as they feel up to it.
Q11 : WHAT ABOUT RECOVERY FROM BELL'S PALSY?
Ans : Approximately 50% of Bells palsy patients will have essentially complete recoveries in a short time. Another 35% will have good recoveries in less than a year.Regardless of the trigger, Bell's palsy is best described as an event - trauma to the nerve. As with any other injury, healing follows. The quality and duration of recovery is dependent on the severity of the initial injury. If the nerve has suffered nothing more than a mild trauma, recovery can be very fast, taking several days to several weeks. An "average" recovery is likely to take between a few weeks and a few months. The nerve regenerates at a rate of approximately 1-2 millimeters per day, and can continue to regenerate for 18 months, probably even longer. Improvement of appearance can continue beyond that time frame.
Q12 : IS MUSCLE ATROPHY A CONCERN?
Ans : Not as a rule. It takes longer for the muscles to start to atrophy than it takes for most people to fully recover.
Q13 : IS BELL'S PALSY LIKELY TO HAPPEN AGAIN?
Ans : The possibility of recurrence had been thought to be as high as 10 - 20%. These figures have been lowered as more has been learned about conditions that are now diagnosed as other types of facial palsies. Estimates of the rate of recurrence still vary widely, from around 4 - 14%. Most recent reports hover at 5 - 9%. The average timespan between recurrences is 10 years.
On the 4th Of Dec when i wake up from my sleep... Can u imagine wat happen? My right side of my face actually can't move... Meaning when i smile u can only see the left side move... I dun have a single feeling @ all... I was so scare that i cried. Till now it's still haven't recover yet...
Anyway i already take things as it is liao... If i'm going to be like that forever then let it be ba... Cos i'm already marry with one child so i dun have to worry that nobody would wan mi... Hehe...U might think that i'm crazy but actually i'm scare... Luckily my pipi is supportive he give mi encouragment... Luckily i have a batch of good friends, colleagues, families & buddy that have been telling mi to take things easy... I will recover one day...

This few days Jervois has been calling mi Ah Bu... I'm so happy that he has start calling mi... Dun get the wrong idea that he is going to call mi ah bu... Haha @ times he call mi Ma too... He has learn to stand up on his own by not holding onto anything for support. But not very stable thought. Yesterday alone he has knock on his head for more than 3 times. My parent says that this is a learning stage so all this is "Nan Mian De". Anyway I'm happy that he is growing up well... Jus hope that i can give him good life when he grows up & not in this unstable state... Haizzz....
